  1. Love the rebuttal, hope people realize what a benefit universal health care is.........Politicians and Drs do not have the average man's interest at heart...too busy lining their own pockets.

  2. I don't totally understand this universal thing. But I do know that I haven't had actual insurance since I was 19. I grew up Military so I had their insurance and it was good as far as I know considering that is the only insurance I have ever had anything to do with myself. It did have it flaws and trust me they weren't bad ones but that was mainly for the mental health. The medical was pretty good I think. The only other thing I have dealt with is Medicare and it is pretty good but it is government and you have to be beyond poor to get that for your kids and you as a grown up if you aren't disabled you aren't getting it. I currently don't have insurance and haven't since I was 20 when I had medicare for myself when I was pregnant with my two youngest kids. I have alot of problems that we are trying to get under control with holistic medicine.(Homeopathic alternative). It is way cheaper than insurance or doctors for that matter. But alot harder considering I am used to the go to doctor and you are better in a week to a month depending on the problem.

One of the reasons we don't like to see Doc all to often anymore is cause all they are worried about is the drug companies. As long as they are pushing the drugs the drug companies keep them in the money. We don't agree with that considering most meds are for a 3 to 6 month thing but the docs nowadays keep you on them for life if they can get away with it.

I have so much more to say about this but I have to get going and get errands done before it is to late and I don't get them done. Thanks for the insight on the way things are held in Canada I like to hear things about other places it is interesting.
